“Community and Psychiatric Short Course”, a collaborated program between IIUM and School of Nursing UMY, officially has started today, on January 24th 2017, at School of nursing’s hall. Mrs. Nurvita Risdiana, as the moderator and person in charge of the meeting stated that the course has officially started. The event were attended by Dr. Dr Wiwik Kusumawati, as the Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Shanti Wardaningsih, Ns., M.Kep., as the head of school of nursing.
This event was related to three agendas:
- Welcoming speech from the dean of Faculty of medicine and health sciences, to welcome the lecturers and students from IIUM and short explanation about School of Nursing by dr.wiwik kusumawati and the head of school of nursing, shanti wardaningsih.
- Official opening for the “Community and Psychiatric Short Course” between IIUM and School of UMY Student.
- Discussion of Joint Research between IIUM and School of Nursing UMY.
Mrs. Nurvita Risdiana, as the person in charge for international affairs of School of nursing stated that the event in international scale like this should be held routinely. Furthermore, to increase the relation with institutions, it is expected that the international event like this could introduce School of Nursing to international scope and it is expected to train students improving their communication skill, in academic or daily life.
